Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC) of Portland/Vancouver is proud to announce that the 7th Annual North America Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (NARTYC) Conference will be held at the Tibetan Community Center (Bhod-Khang) here in Portland, Oregon on July 14th and 15th 2007.
Delegates from Regional Tibetan Youth Congress of Minnesota, New York/New Jersey, Portland/Vancouver, San Francisco, Seattle and Toronto will participate in the conference.
The conference will discuss the upcoming Olympics in Beijing and other issues and what NARTYCs can do to shine the light on the brutal Communist Chinese regime in Tibet and the need for all Tibetans to rise up united for the sacred goal of Tibet's Independence.
"We are at a very Critical Stage in our history. With trainloads of Han Chinese settling in Tibet daily and trainloads of our natural resources being looted everyday, the very survival of our nation and our race is at stake. It is high time we in EXILE echo the call for Independence from our brothers and sisters inside Tibet and sincerely work towards regaining our Independence (RANGZEN) and nothing less" said Tsewang Rigzin, President of RTYC Portland/Vancouver.
The conference also aims to brainstorm ideas to further energize our struggle for Independence and discuss strategies to counter-attack China on all fronts.
We hope to have a very successful conference with the participation of all RTYCs in North America except RTYC Belleville.
